Employer Supported Policing

Dear Resident 

Humberside Police and local businesses join together to help the local community.

Businesses/organisations in the Humberside region are joining together with Humberside police to support the role of the Special Constable.   The Employer Supported Policing (ESP) scheme is owned by the Home Office and promotes partnership working to help make a difference within our own community. Special Constables provide additional high visibility policing in the Humberside region to assist with crime reduction, public reassurance and increased public confidence.

There are many benefits to the businesses/organisations who sign up to the scheme including: 

· Enhancing the profile and reputation of the business,

· Supporting social responsibility objectives,

· Positive marketing opportunities.

· Unique experiences for staff development that cannot be bought commercially.

· Being a responsible business.
